stealth bomber Posted October 17, 2016 Share Posted October 17, 2016 Yes. As long as it's an actual puff ball and not a stemmed mushroom. Looks like a puff ball though. I would cut it into slices about 1/2" thick, peel the outer layer off and fry it in a pan with butter. You want to use it within 24 hours of removing it from the ground, or freeze it. I've been in my current house for nine years, and the one I found a couple weeks ago was the first one I have found on my own property. It was roughly the size of a soccer ball.
