Steve was a formidable player when he played for the Peterborough Petes so everyone knew he was going to be a good one! Oshawa beat out Peterborough in the years Yzerman played for them but Oshawa had some good teams back then. The Oshawa/Pete's is the OHL's biggest/longest rivalry. Glad I was able to watch Yzerman play before he made it in the NHL. One heck of a hockey player. http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/leagues/seasons/ohl19891983.html 1

I don't know if they put a spin on the Pete's name and called them the Patriots instead or if they referring to the Peterborough Patriots based out another area or out of England? This wikipedia article mentions both Peterboro and Peterborough but could just be a spelling mistake? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slap_Shot_(film) Edited April 20, 2019 by irv

We have been eagerly awaiting this for a while. He will The Illitches love him and will give him and do whatever he asks/wants to get them back to a winning team again. First thing is to get rid of that sorry fuck Howard. .
