I did , they're all still sitting on the lot for someone else to buy !!!!!!!!!!11

that really is the smartest choice.  as much as i hate putting 2k in the explorer between the tpu seal,  trans service and the water pump its a fuck lot cheaper than a years depreciation on a new overpriced POS.

fords trash,  fuckers just cost me 1400 for a fucking water pump because of shitty design.

I have 2 right now a 12 5.0 has 148k abused mi . has had the basic shit pads tires etc is in desperate need of ball joints,.lol still original plugs and tranny fluid

only issue has been a 150 buck radiator hose fitting because of a shitty  clip . and a rear end seal at 10k mi .and the 3rd or 4th heater fan relay . oh on 3rd tail gate they keep crushing and coming in glued.  total shit and can't hold real weight

a 14  5.0 with 120k same basic maint shit . worse tail gate . has a light that pops on from time to time for 4x4 actuator but has done that for yrs . 2nd heater fan relay

.

compare that to my old z71 fr end eater  or rams that spend a lot of time at AAMCO getting rebuilt tranny installed every other yr .

Ford or ram but Ford first unless ram is giving way better deals .

You need me to dig up some quotes of you raving about the ram you stupid fucking dago. God damned are you fucking MC level senile?

It was good until it wasn't, 90K on the clock for V8 failure is unacceptable, it's a problem with the 5.7's that Mopar won't acknowledge. This has turned many loyal Mopar owners off.

It is unacceptable. Anything besides brakes and tires before 100k is unacceptable.

$50 fucking plus grand...yuh.  I'd even say that should include a free set of tires and free brakes until 100k.

I'm not arguing that it's acceptable. Simply stating the gm issue was more pervasive and for a much longer range of affected years.

Good call. You don't want an inferior truck like a Ram anyway. You're already on an inferior sled, so no need to go making things even worse.  Get down to the Ford dealer and do some test drives, then get off your wallet. :news:

Is resale a consideration? Who is best?

I dont know who is the best but used truck prices are pretty high. Seeing the prices of new trucks its no surprise there is huge demand for used ones.

It doesn't matter, trucks prices are ridiculous because the manus. and the sellers know the male ego is weak.

Yep.  I fought the Toyota idea for decades. Finally caved.  Hard to look back and find a better truck I’ve ever owned.  “Hard” = impossible.

Easy monthly payments bro!  Don’t sweat it tho...you’ll be upside down in the first week of ownership and won’t recover until the 7th year of the loan.

Best truck I’ve ever owned.  And I don’t say that lightly.  I put assloads of miles on my trucks.  This thing is just stupid good.  Shit gas mileage but, meh..

No problem, my ego is in check, haven't had a vehicle payment in about 8 years and I love it.

Yeah, the “box shake” on the tundras is pretty well documented...like their poor gas mileage.  It’s weird, I can see mine shaking on rough roads in the rear view but, no damage.  Also, they have weak tailgates.  I’ve beant mine carrying heavy loads with the gate down.  Stupid short bed...but it looks GNAR!!!!
