The emphasis is on the change, not how good or bad it is. IMO, the middle class is not much better off now than they have been. The trumpsters get all excited over little shit, like the wages rising .1% !!! Well Woo hoo!!!

Is about the same imo as the last 8 years or so. Pretty solid for the most part. Inflation has went up way faster than wages tho imo.

You said above 3-5% pay raises btw.

I know of 2 tool & die shops sending stuff to China in the last year or so. Workers there on 32 hrs etc. Word is - they will pull work back if tariffs come into play.

I agree, things are about the same

This economy even at the end is 1000x better than anything Obama did

We have a growing manufacturing sector. Real jobs....not baristas

Can't even compare manufacturing growth to Obama.....Trump has also reversed the government /manufacturing job growth ratio big time.

And 1/2 those people were doing the same during the recession. Lets face it, if one didn't lose their job during the recession nit was pretty painless. The average American as you prefer to call them , just floats along.

Read and try to understand Fordy...it's a big ask I know. Record low unemployment and worker shortages.

Documented and Undocumented make up 16.9 % of the workforce.

More than 50 percent of all immigrant households receive welfare benefits, compared to only 30 percent of native households in the United States that receive welfare benefits,” the release states.

but but but ...we need more!

Filings for U.S. unemployment benefits unexpectedly dropped, falling to the lowest level since October 1969 and suggesting little sign of cooling in a tight labor market.

Jobless claims decreased to 196,000 in the week ended April 6, Labor Department figures showed Thursday. The level fell below all estimates in Bloomberg’s survey of economists, which had called for an increase. The four-week average, a less-volatile measure, declined to 207,000, the lowest since December 1969.

Doesn’t look like the dems are going to get the recession they so desperately want right now. It’s coming, but not this year.

Unemployment has bottomed. It can only go up from here. If there are major spending cuts you will see your recession.

This is good news, we have gone from 4.7% unemployment in November 2016 to 3.8% in March 2019; now the question becomes how do you grow the economy without growing the population?

I don’t think most have a problem with immigration. It’s the staggering number of folks flowing over the border undocumented that is the concern IMO.

Tell me what is so much better with trump. Around here everyone is on the same path they have been. 3 to 5% pay raises, same bonuses (some even less), a little savings  in taxes for some. Home valued are about the same, the market is about the same, trucks are super expensive, cars about the same. So please, what’s happened in your neck of the woods to make things so grand. And spare the “well the wife got a bonus for the first time ever “ line of crap

Jesus dude what exactly are your expectations?  Sprinkles and fairy dust?

I’ve been telling certain clowns that giving huge tax breaks to the wealthy and corporations won’t do shit for the average American worker. The savings would go into stock buy backs, the ceos, offshore accounts, yachts, the country club sponsorships, and all the other perks.

So here we are, and clown #1 asks what did i expect

I’m referring to the average workers, not business owners. Besides, you were busy prior to trump.

Last year at this time our center was running 45 routes and drivers. A year later we have 53 drivers and routes. That is almost a 10% increase, and it takes the individual from about $20k a year as a part timer to upwards of $100k. Never even seen anything like this in 30 years.

Business is up 20% since the election.   2019 is looking to be up another 20%+ with 2 more large projects kicking off.

People laugh when they say the election meant nothing yet many charts show completely different facts.  Orders and forecasts went up almost immediately.

He expected Doom and Gloom that the DNC promised, but it didn't happen.  Just like collusion, a hillary win, and the other bullshit that the dnc is peddling.

I don't know what you think you were arguing with this graph but, if I were you, based on you usual arguments, I wouldn't have pasted it here.

you either can't grasp what it's reflecting, or you got a little excited over a little bump near the end...
