helping our kids get started is what most parents do,  bailing them out for bad decisions in their 40's, 50's 60's is creating an old snowflake

with a "small loan" when he started out.  which was much larger than he admitsto and he never goes into all his inherited wealth and the bailouts he got from them.

i would have zero issue telling my kids no once they are on their own.  failure is not a bad thing but they only really learn lessons from it when they are allowed to fail.

What you consider big might have been small....to some...you sound envious if anything.

And so what? What is being changed? None of those alleged perpetrators are being prosecuted and all of Trumps associates are. So what has been exposed? That Trump is as much of a swamp creature as the people he professed to oust?

Even if they kept making the same mistakes over and over? Where is the education in that. There is no consequence to them for poor decisions.
