Just read on the book no in showroom sleds for cat for 2020. They were talking about the alpha then changed topic.

This is how it works in the US. A dealer that knows he can move certain spring order sleds, orders them under friends names with their permission. The dealer signs for them and pays for them when they come in. The dealer just needs a name for the MFG. It bends the rules, but doesn’t break any laws. The said dealer owns that sled and it is sold as new. My name has been used before, with my permission. It’s a big gamble for the dealer.

It’s a two stroke 600.

I heard they're putting the Rotax 850 in the procross chassis because they know Cat's updated 800 is still a dog

Who the fuck wants a non-turbo 4s?  I guess there's a place for them..touring and shit?

Bingo.  Always has been.  And now...THE HYPERCLASSES!!!!  :lmao:

I saw the R-XC was a 137.  not happy about that but...that seems to be where it's all headed.  :dunno:

I don't know why they did that on the R-XC.  Maybe I'll need to polk around for a 18 or 19 leftover.

They do that in Canada too. But it sounded like all sleds are like that

Lot's of rumors of  different snowmobile  companies reaching out to Yamaha and Honda for specific  engine model builds /  R&D ,  for snowmobiles.  Yamaha was never going to pull the plugs on sleds , ( haters are going to hate ) they had way to many sled products in a ever thinning  snowmobile / dealer market. The re- launch of the Phazer  and the ensuing recalls / updates for that model troubled the people in charge in Japan.  Yamaha like Honda , are very conservative run corporations.

I have a feeling this new motor will be a dud unless Yamaha helped them build it.

why? cat designed almost every motor they had in sleds for close to 20 yrs,. the old zuk cat desined turbo is a better motor for HP than that yammi all day .
