A moderate dem will beat trump. A moderate dem will be filtered out of the pile as we get closer to the election. Trump, if he’s even in the race, would lose bigly. Therefore, if you want to retain some form of conservatism, you’d be smart to challenge trump. Moderate republicans are not a fan of what trump is doing to their brand.
