In 2000, total govt spending was around $3.2 Trillion.   Fed, state and local.

Absolutely insane how much all levels of govt have grown in 20 years.   Averaging close to 5% increase in spending per year.

In 2020 we will spend over $25,400 per citizen.  $2258 per person just on defense.  :wall: :wall:   Sadly we already are a socialist country.

Washington was almost totally controlled by conservative Republicans those years

Conservative Republicans? That’s fuckin funny

It matters not who did it. What matters is that we reign in the spending!
