No one at a high level ever suffers any penalties, all you get is tough talk from what ever side is in power to satisfy their followers.

Complacency, but hey.  At least the R's have the tea party and got a non dc establishment elected, what's going on with the other side?  They stonewalled the only one that wasn't on board.  He got his and shut his mouth.  Good job bernie.

All this damage control fuckery is going to bury a lot of scumbags as the truth comes out.

It’s hard to believe anyone had a problem with the Comey firing, the guy was inept and a criminal.

and Ben/Anler are right, if the top law enforcement and prosecutors in the land can tip the scales for their desired outcome, what hope does the average joe have of justice.

The average Joe has zero chance of justice....now make yourself poor and black and it's less than zero.

Yuh...I was invited to a few of those after hours drinking socials.  The first few were ok then, they got all anti-Obama and their whole message just went to shit.  They just morphed into a less religious faction of the far right.  What a shame.  They had a good message to begin with and it fell apart under their own sense of self righteousness...just like liberalism.

Real change in DC is near impossible, people who try get paid off, shamed off, or killed off.

Well it certainly is but the pubes didn't run with that ball. Wonder why.

Seriously?   You weren't paying attention.   The DoS, FBI and DOJ all stonewalled them for months and months.

They are still trying to cover that fuckery up at every turn.  They all still think they have a reputation to protect.

Both house and senate committees tried and tried and tried.   Hard to investigate when everything you need is in the hands of those you are investigating and they refuse to turn over the documents......oh and smash the devices with a hammer as well.

The DOJ and FBI were protecting Obama and Clinton.   Their boss and who they thought would be their future boss.  Pretty simple.   There were even text's or emails stating such with Clinton.

I would love a form of #metoo movement to out all these politicians from office.  There is a meme floating around about how breathless all the Trump haters are about investigating a billionaire, when they ignore how all those people in Congress become millionaires after being elected in the first place.

Thank u.  Ben and Anler seem to think it’s that simple, and missed the separation of powers part.  You just can’t order the AG to indict someone.  They are however supposed to do their jobs impartially.

But, "Obama's administration had ZERO indictments".

Seems to me they forget the tarmac meeting where they just talked golf and grandkids for 1/2 hour.
