Green New Deal: Ocasio-Cortez aims to make air travel obsolete, aid those ‘unwilling’ to work

You agree with this plan?   Of course you do you already got one foot in the grave and got to live your life like the way you wanted to.  Fuck everyone else huh?

A lot of job creation goes along with those plans.

Its proposals include “net-zero greenhouse gas emissions through a fair and just transition for all communities and workers;” job creation; infrastructure investment; guarantees of clean water, healthy food and sustainable environment; and a curiously undefined “access to nature.”

Beyond those broad proposals, the plan and accompanying documents from Ocasio-Cortez includes a range of far-fetched goals -- and drew swift scorn from Republicans and other critics. The Republican National Committee dubbed it a "socialist wish list" that would kill at least 1 million jobs and disrupt global trade -- while costing trillions.

The resolution, for instance, includes a proposal to “upgrade all existing buildings” in the country in order to achieve energy efficiency, safety, affordability, durability and comfort.

Eliminate air travel eh? I think that is going to be a hard one to pass even for the staunchest liberals. I live minutes from several international airports and 2 of them are some of the busiest in the country. Lots of people need to fly for work, family, vacation, etc... Not to mention shipping. How many hospitals have patients flown in or organs flown in? What are you going to replace that with? teleportation devices? That would be cool tho...

You can eliminate a lot of air travel with high speed rail.

Not imagining anything.

Who exactly was directing her? The establishment Dems that don't even like her? If anything was guiding her decisions on what to do it was, "Do the opposite of what Joe Machin is doing and give him dirty looks when he claps for Trump."

The Democratic party does not like AOC. Maybe they'll start getting it when the Dems who clapped for the, "America will never be a socialist nation" line start getting primaried...

Anything beyond drill baby drill and elimination of CAFE standards are behind the 🤡 Posse’s comprehension.

America has pissed away railroads , look at how many rails have been pulled over the last 50 years never to be re- laid. High speed rail in America that will work everywhere ?? Nope. Look at Michigan and the loss of rail lines over the last 75 years, it is nothing more than the  "Toonerville Trolley" in most places. The much experienced bartender needs to visit other areas of the USA, out of the walls of her elected district.

Remove all rails that are used as snowmobile trails!

That is a long way off at best and at what cost? Imagine the eminent domain that would be required. And what about overseas?

Actually I'm pretty sure I stole this joke from South Park. It might've actually been about Nova Scotia though, I'm not 100% sure.

Likely New Brunswick
