That isnt true at all. The 800ho poo revs good but doesnt have anywhere close to the midrange pull of the etec 850

800 poos beat 850 doos all damn day.

Good to hear. Etecs are great engines. Just like I've always said. :news:

The 850 is considerably better than the 800. You should have heard Steven after he got off the 850.

I didn't think the 800 was significantly faster than any other 800, it is just a great running engine. I knew the 850 was going to be a winner.

The chassis is good but not great. The rear is great and front just ok. The engine is the best 2 stroke out by a long shot and there is no 4 stroke in a chassis I want. The decision was simple

Doo front ends have always been twitchy. The etec has always been the benchmark for all 2 strokes.

Not Drew's

Also Prestone was only seeing 106 top speed when he whooped Drew.

My sled runs much faster

How many miles on Drews motor now?  Might be time for pistons.

It was pretty fast earlier in the season.

It's still very fast....there is no chance it is beating a properly working 850.

Drew's sled has less miles than mine. Why would he need pistons?

I think he is making a Polaris 800 joke....

3,200 miles on my sled now. I think the 850 may have a slight advantage in the midrange, while my poo has the bottom end. To be honest, I think the 850 was hyped up to be a lot faster than it really is.

If an 850 doo isn’t edging out 800s that would be a failure of epic proportions. Now if poo can just get the lords 850 healthy.....

A 850 with fucked up belt deflection and 10k on the motor would boot stomp those old formula triples bro. Oops.

They won’t touch my cfr though

If the race is a mile long, no they won’t. Otherwise the 850 or 800 will walk all over a cfr until it hits its wall. You’ll have to ask Ben but some of the guys were saying the cfr was badly bruised and beat down after racing that weekend :snack:

No I’d be probably 10 lengths out by 200’
