It was violence that ushered in civil rights. MLK was a nice guy though.

Oh, and protection for blacks from the federal government.

Lol!

liberals:  “Fuck MLK.  He was too nice...violence gets things done!”

Also liberals: “There’s no need to resort to violence.”

I spent 23 hours plowing snow for a contractor friend, came home got 3 hours sleep. Then got to clear snow at my own house. Frozen cement, 8 degrees blowing wind. Had a sandwich then roughed in 10 outlets and ceiling lights and ran about 200 feet of 12/2 and 14/2 wire.

Fuck you sitting around.

Dont lie, you yelled at the clouds and shit your pants.

Some would say it was ushered in by a tired woman unwilling to give up her seat on the bus.  At any rate, do you think the civil rights movement would of played out the same with a malevolent message of reverse racism?

He was a Christian.  Oops.  Libs are going to take down his statues soon.

Probably not because he was actually a Christian who lived by Christian values. Big difference between actual Christian's and the Christian right. King detested war and was about equality and helping your fellow man.

It was unannounced because it was not on his schedule. He was not going period.....until he thought he will lose votes.

fuck trump

Dude just because it wasn't on his public schedule doesn't mean it wasn't planned.   I can see Trump limiting the announcement of being in public with as many as nuts like you that hate him to your very core.

Curious how many current members of BLM were alive and experienced these things in the Jim Crow south.

Doubtful any of them. It’s rather preposterous to compare assigned seating at an optional event to racism that was supported by the US government.

Jesus.  You have to spell everything out.

Kings message was blacks / whites are equal and no one should have to stand/ sit in the back based on skin color.

What is so controversial or hard to understand.  You are the one being preposterous.
