We ran from my place in Griffith to Eganvillle then to Golden Lake and on to Barrys Bay for lunch at Ash Grove Inn. Return was the same route. We put on 190 miles. Fuel consumption is a little better then my XCR 800. For comparison my XCR 800 fuel burn was the same as my old 2010 1200 for those who ask. We may have crossed paths somewhere along the way. I unloaded in Arnprior ran the new trail along the Ottawa River to Renfrew, D'acre to Eganville for lunch at the Rio, then over Golden Lake past the Sands to Pembroke back to Arnprior. Trails were flat and awesome with good snow. The only complaint is Pembroke to Arnprior is all Railbed!!

Poncho
Another couple hundred miles last weekend....the 850 is still hanging in.....and so is my XCR 800....looks at Frostynuts.... Plenty of sleds out and conditions were awesome. With more snow coming this week and cold temps February should be a great month.

Do not read HCS much....too much of a soap opera when it comes to all the issues with sleds, in case that is where you are reading all the doom and gloom..... 1

Frostynuts
Not a chance anyone with an 850 Polaris could hand anyone with a turbo cat or Yamaha their ass. I haven,t rode with Mel this year yet, but I have dragged many of his previous Polaris sleds to roads where we could load them onto a trailer. LOL I actually hate seeing any sledders have problems with their sleds, especially brand new ones. Kinda tough to enjoy the day, if anyone has to be worrying about sled reliability. Nice to see the trails around Eastern Ontario finally getting enough snow to get the trails open and groomed.

You seem to be overly worried about other's, you really shouldn't be cause it not reciprocal. On the bold, do you ride with anyone who has a sled newer than 2011? Cause thats when Poo fixed the 600's and 2015 is when they fixed the 800's. Keep riding that heavy POS and outdated chassis, maybe they will come out with a 20 year warranty for guys like you, then you will still find an excuse.

Next time I see Mel I will ask him how many times you actually pulled him home..LOL Did you put a bunch of goofy stickers on your Cat like your old Yamaha or did you leave it stock? Did you buy Charlie's old Turbo Cat?

ArcticCrusher
Nice ride today and still no earth shattering kaboom. Oh and the Axys chassis kills the Cat, I'm not biased.
