Iowa grants gun permits to the blind

Recommended Posts

Private gun ownership — even hunting — by visually impaired Iowans is nothing new. But the practice of visually impaired residents legally carrying firearms in public became widely possible thanks to gun permit changes that took effect in Iowa in 2011.

Great snoop work Colombo! Just a few years late.

Are there laws in place that punish negligent discharges of a weapon? If yes, who cares if you are blind or 20/20? The only thing the govt should worry about is you infringing on the rights of others due to your ownership. If a blind ass dude wants to buy a Deagle, by all means, but if he fucks up, that is the only law that should matter. Fuck yah MC, you nanny stare pussy!!!! ‘Merica!!!

The unjust removal of someone’s constitutional right because you don’t understand what blind is?

Or the fact that legaly blind people are currently carrying in his home state as well as the state to the east and the state to the west of him.

But Iowa, fuck no !!!

It’s a simple case of how do you view your constitutional rights IMO. You either are for selective issuing of those rights or you are for them being universal and unwavering. Your laws on the back end should be for violations of those rights of another person or their safety. If you are blind, you should be able to buy a weapon. Common sense would than dictate that your law should be aimed at preventing someone from using their right infringing on someone’s safety or rights. It couldn’t be a simpler case of supporting the Constitution or thinking you can wipe your ass with it like MC the doddering old fuck does. If we were going to start limiting someone’s rights, I’d start with old senile fucks like him before the legally blind.
