Napolitano: CNN has 'very good case' against Trump administration

Recommended Posts

This:

Later in the interview, Napolitano went on to reference former President Jefferson's adage about newspapers and press freedom, arguing that the right was sacred to the Founding Fathers.

"Remember Jefferson: 'I would rather have newspapers without government than a government without newspapers.' A bit hyperbolic but you can understand the value of the free press to the Founders," Napolitano said.

Not sure if in Jefferson's times the corporation agenda played quite as much role in media.  Also was probably one paper a month at best a week, not 24 hours news cycle and camera's showing the world every step or mis-step one makes.  Pretty poor comparison.

But since you like Jefferson's quotes so much we will make sure to post them more.

One of my fav's.

Quotation: "A government big enough to give you everything you want, is a government big enough to take away everything that you have."

Another great one.

“I predict future happiness for Americans, if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.”

The difference being, in today's day in age, the press is not free, it's bought paid and sold to the highest bidder. Another example of the lefts inability to comprehend and interpret simple, clear as day, constitutionalists ideology. :pan:

You certainly have a tendency to avoid an issue with stuff that isn’t even remotely relevant. You’re not very good at it either.

More nonsensical irrelevancy. If you’re going to try these kind of diversionary tactics, I can advise you on how to do a much better job.

Fox News is an excellent example of that.

Yet you post links from fox in an attempt at a gotcha moment. Irony.

So how do you compare Trump removing Acosta vs what Obama did to Fox and AP reporters?

he loses more than he wins with the stuff he pulls,  but the headlines play out for the rabid righties just right and they seem to just ignore when the courts overthrow his actions.

Current White House correspondents.   Considering there are 49 chairs who chooses who gets in?   Pretty sure all of them can't pack in.

Yes but in some cases it is the issue not the win Trump is looking for. Travel ban comes to mind.
