the argument here is for redistribution of wealth with the lions share taken by government retained and wasted in the collection and administration of those additional tax revenues. I suppose if one feels that paying billions more in taxation so a  few poor people can collect millions in benefits is good for the economy and benefits the country as whole then by all means, line up and pay more for your , well, for your everything. No tax has ever given a net benefit to a society, they all take and waste money with the return being of less value than the original take.

Bingo.

And while the Lying Liberals preach and promise to make "the rich" pay more to pander the middle class vote, they don't.

That's not the problem anyway, simply spending exponentially more than the tax base both provincially and federally with complete disregard for debt and deficit is criminal. That fucking idiot actor/teacher/costume queen can't even speak let alone add or negotiate nor does he feel any responsibility to represent or respect the Canadian Tax payer.

If you read the article and understood it. That isn't what is being said.

But it's interesting that you support tax cuts at the expense of higher debt and think that is ok.

what an idiotic fucking article.

Never mind the source, 'Clean Prosperity'.....naaahhh, no bias there.

But their simplistic assumption that rebates would be coming back is based on the cost to industry:

Quote

The reason households would get more back than they paid? Carbon taxes will be collected not only from households but also from business and industrial emitters, and Sawyer’s modelling assumes that while the federal government would return some industrial revenues to large emitters, most would be rebated directly to households.

Are they too stupid to realize that business and industrial emitters will simply transfer the costs of the new tax on down to the consumers of their products and services? Must have missed where they mentioned that.

Fucking idiots.
