Vote to pass $607B military spending bill.  +$17B from last year, this is the biggest military budget ever, outside of the height of the Iraq war.

November can’t come soon enough. At least spending on health care kept Americans alive.

93-7 you fucktard. How many of those would be Dems since there are not 93 repubs in the senate... Ask if this would have passed with Dems in control? Yep.

Not the increased military spending along with a massive tax giveaway to the rich.  Big difference xtramomo 👍

Wish it was 50% less than it is but it completely depends how one looks at it we are nowhere near at record levels as a percentage of GDP or government spending

They're all on the same team when it comes to this shit guys. Partisanship is Kabuki theatre for the ignorant and stupid. There is one party, and we don't live in a Democratic Republic, we live under an oligarchy that pretends it's a democracy.

I’m guessing the dems realized it was going to happen anyway, and figured they’d get some other funding with it.

“In order to avoid political fights over non-defense spending levels, lawmakers agreed to package the military budget bill with the full-year funding for the Departments of Health and Human Services, Labor, and Education.”

Dems would not have introduced this massive of a military spending  bill. They would not have downsized to our liking though either.

Not too long ago the dems were chastised for not enough military spending. “We need more navy ships” “our military is depleted “ they all yelled. Now all of a sudden the repukes want to point some fingers at the dems for the increased military spending. Funny how that works
