Rod
Wife’s new Yukon has been averaging 11.8L\100km over the last 2400k or so. Mix of town and highway that’s 20+ mpg in freedom units. Be interesting to see what it does once broke in

Gold Member BOHICA Posted September 19, 2018 Gold Member Share Posted September 19, 2018 (edited) I run like a raped ape everywhere... 80 mph speed limits and 70 mph speed limits on secondary roads really help on getting somewhere. Last 5.3 Chevy I was in we were getting 15 mpg but that was at like 85 mph. Thing would shift down and scream like crazy at every little incline in the road Edited September 19, 2018 by BOHICA

thewayout
Broken in 6.2 nets me around 20-22 highway. I’ve been doing around 80-85 getting that and the 6.2 cruises around 1800-1900 rpm, never downshifts. favoritos
Do you guys ever check the gauge economy vs. the real numbers at the pump just to see how accurate? I always wonder if the gauge is showing perfect numbers.

I had to check because there had to be no way I was between 12-13 MPG on my 5.7. But, YUP! Sure was!
