I would......Bernie would have done much of what Trump is doing on trade which is the only thing I have been pleased with Trump on. Bernie would have done a lot more shit that I support as well.

Trump is a corrupt lying retard and the only thing he has done right is tackling trade........the rest has been 100% pure shit

I know you think you’re awake but Bernie has never accomplished anything in his life outside of government. Government is a massive failure as you and I both know

Not to mention presidents are puppets. Bernie wouldn’t have done anything the powers that be didn’t want gim to do “see the wall”.

Bernie has voted against the onslaught against our 4th amendment at every step.........that is 10000% more valuable than anything that bootlicking pile of fuck Trump will do.

Bernie could have reigned in the corrupt US Intel community. Trump just signs laws that give them more power

Watching one of the dem debates where he got backed into a corner on gun rights and he flip flopped in a heart beat....  it was when I knew he was nothing but an empty suit.  He is just a career.....  very long career politician.  So nope.

I totally disagree........trump is prolonging capitalism significantly with his current attack on predatory trade practices that have crushed out middle class

capitalism won't last unless everyone sees a significant increase in their paychecks. I don't think any of what Trump is doing is going to bring wages up enough to start tapering back our reliance on debt.

And that's just the short term issues. Looming technological advances could cut labor requirements in such a fashion that wages' share of aggregate demand will dwindle to nothing. And any short term rise in wages is going to spur that process on.

Capitalism has a built-in poison pill. It will happen, and IMO Trump will accelerate that.

Not a chance.  Bernie is a half-witted blow hard sell out who couldn’t hold a job until he got into politics.  He’s a career politician.  Period.  Any doubt of that was removed when he met Hillary on stage to congratulate her on the nomination.

Credit though....his Socialist antics are driving the Dems nuts right now.  They are fractured in so many ways it makes me laugh.

well how would you have seen Bernie as a stop gap but Trump as having accelerated the demise of capitalism? That makes zero sense

Wrong.  Capitalism is fluid.

But, I admire your spunk!  Wish hard enough and......well, Obama was re elected.  I guess anything might be possible.

capitalism will indeed be dead in a matter of decades.....technology will dictate that. Capitalism was a good vehicle to create a middle class.......artificial intelligence will kill it faster than it got here

Bernie would have attempted to do something similar to what FDR did with the new deal. The things he wanted to do would have made it easier for the average person to live under capitalism. Bernie would have attempted to slow down and blunt the negative effects of capitalism.

Trump is doing the opposite and loosening the reigns rather than tightening them like Bernie would have.

totally wrong.....trumps trade policy is an attempt to rekindle demand driven economics and create real jobs.....not fake government jobs provided by debt

Bernie should have lost your support when he bent over and took it in the ass and backed Hillary. All the while knowing she litterly stole the nomination. A noble person doesn’t back a person that steals from them. A corrupt dime store politician who is easly bought off does
