Getting ready for the season

Recommended Posts

I ordered a titanium can for the 600 today from Diamond S for a 17lb. weight loss, then I hope to drop the sled off at Goodwin Performance next week to have some clutching done along with fresh oil and nitrogen for the shocks.

Put my sled on Craigslist today just to see if I get any bites.  Gonna jump on a 600r-XC if I sell. If not, change chaincase oil, ski and track alignment, and all should be good....maybe tweak clutching a bit more but it's pretty spot on.  Probably going to adjust deflection and get a couple of 085 belts from Christian brothers racing to see what that might do.

Only 750 miles on that trail weapon so if I keep it, I plan on rolling a couple thou this winter.

Mine is sitting in the sled shed leaking coolant where I parked it last spring.

It's not like you will still have it when the trails open, Hell, you'll probably buy and sell 2 or 3 sleds by then

I just ordered SLP Mohawk skis for the sled this morning, I'm hoping there is some good snow in the UP by the second weekend in December :bc:

I just gave my turbo sled battery a top up charge, and polished my clutches, that were off of the sled and apart, as they were just balanced by Garlands.

I also polished the tunnel and running boards, so it looks better than new.

Sure wish we could make our sleds street legal. They would be a riot.

I just have to grease the sleds and trailer, wash n wax the trailer and check the tires. It's a good thing on not having to spend any money on anything this year

They are, in the G4 platform.  The XRS (both 129" & 137") , Blizzard, Freeride and BackCountry X are still in the XS Platform for '17

Thanks :bc:

It looks a little different now. Still not finished

Just slid on those new Cat grips (challenging) and peeked inside my chain case.  A quick alignment check and.....dust it off a bit and wait......

Yeah I blacked my last one out but didn't like it so added some back for just enough accent.  I do love black sleds.  I wish I could get rid of some I that fucking green on mine.
