Found a minty 2012 Liberty Limited  for my daughter and it’s spotless...it has the Command Trac which doesn’t have a part time or AWD mode...either locked in or not. Any concerns?

Sounds like what is in our Wrangler.

Concerns?  Don't mean to sound sexist, but I would try and get a female a real-time or AWD model.  No problems for a guy.

Not at all...that’s exactly why I asked and her Edge was AWD so she is used to that.

If you can be taught to tie your own shoelaces and have a enough sense to put a coat on when it's cold out, you will have enough sense to engage 4 wheel drive when it's snowing out :bc:

Of course she can.  I would be more worried of someone leaving it engaged on dry roads.

Yeah come to think of it I know guys that that have done that very thing and driven across the state locked in 4 in the middle of summer. Also the Commnad Trac seems more simple it’s less shit to go wrong. Damn thing is nice.

She'll be fine and she will definitely feel the fight in the steering wheel on dry pavement

It really shouldn’t be too difficult but, I live with two blondes.  I prefer they have AWD.

1.) They’ll forget to put it in 4wd and remember after they are in the ditch.

2.) They’ll forget they had it in 4wd and drive in on pavement.

3.) I wonder, what if I would have married a brunette?

Always had the hots for Kate.

I would shy away from a liberty. Probably the worst jeep product there is.

Really....I would think that would be the Compass or Patriot. Most of the reviews I've read were pretty positive.

The only thing worse  then buying a truck is selling one.

I've sold a lot of sleds but only a few vehicles and I was surprised at just how hard it is to find decent clean AWD vehicles for my daughter...the Edge worked out because it was my wife's car and then my daughters.

Same kid had a patriot too. Was great till it hit 100k , then fell apart.

Was looking for a Grand Cherokee for her....even the higher miled up ones aren't being given away.

Nice trucks , but way overpriced.

No kidding and finding a rust free one around here is pretty tough unless you want to spend 15-20 grand and that's out of our range for her.
