I think Fly is who makes Polaris lids too.  @f7ben

If it doesnt make my sled faster I don't really give a fuck ......picking a helmet is like shopping for furniture. Quickly pick whatever feels ok for the least amount of money possible and move on. You fucking chicks and your accessory shopping are why skidoo leads in sales. Fucking posers like Snowrider picking what graphics he likes best and a matching 509 helmet. Shut fucking makes me puke.

Why not just get a $5 swap meet helmet then?

The bv2s is heavy and has no vents. It's a great helmet on really cold days but not so much on warmer ones.

Well this is an odd comment considering the statements made in this thread. Almost smells like you're massively butthurt about something. I don't recall rubbing your nose in anything recently but that doesnt mean anything.

Dude have you read ANY of your posts on sleds?   You have to admit you come off like your opinion is the rule standard on sleds.  Anyway I'm flipping you shit.   Take a chill pill.

I hate helmet shopping. Last one I bought I bought trailside after the one I was wearing was fogging so bad. Took the old one shoved it in a box and asked the dude to put it out back and I would get it later. Forgot all about it for 2 yrs. Was driving by one day and whipped in. Still had my old one.

New one is ugly as a fuck. but was the only xl he had in stock that day.

Yeah, I've always been one to be able to make whatever work but my last helmet was a Fox moto.  I fought fit and goggle issues with it for two seasons before I simple just gave up.  This is a unique sport that simply just trying a helmet on in the summer only shows the comfort.  The real test is out in -20 windchill.  By then....it's all too late.  That's why I'm so hesitant to switch brands.  My 509 fits pretty well and they've done a good job matching goggle design to them.  Still, I always wonder if a different brand could work better.

I miss the ease of helmet fitting of my bike days.  If it feels good at the store, good to go on the road/track!

this

i run the 3 hole valve and it flows a bit more air but when i was on the saddlebag with my boy it was real warm 1 day and i had to yank the valve completely to feel like i wasn't suffocating.

That's exactly what it is. Fit is only 1/2 of it. Can ya see out of the damn thing is what matters.

YEP!  The road to epic frustrations starts mid trail when you can clearly see fog starting to develop on the sides or bottom of the goggles then slowly watch it grow and wondering how far you can go before you have to give up, pull off the trail and fuck around with your fucking gear while everyone waits on you.  :wall:

I have been running a Shoei vfx and Dragon goggles for 3 seasons now, best set up I have found for me. I had 2 509, they both really hurt my ears the following days. Fly I liked, but my dog ate it, and my hjc was friggin heavy as hell.
