A 121 actually will have an extra lug on the ground compared to a 129

A 128 will actually have a little more lug on the ground than a 141.

ot helps on hard pack. I haven’t seen any top end advantage with the 2.86 tracks. I’m sure the extra lugs probably are no benefit in the powder

If I remember right the reason for going to 2.86 and 3.0 was for a lighter track. Seems that would help the racer as well. :dunno:
