Gold Member Kivalo Posted March 16, 2018 Gold Member Share Posted March 16, 2018 Can you believe before that they just put some petal on the prop and hoped for the best?

Typically tho they mounted the gun on a swivel or on the top of the wing.
snatchslayer
On top of the wing would make sense lol
Zambroski
I wonder how many planes shot themselves down when the sync was thrown off or damaged. My guess is just a finger blip on the trigger and flying skills were tested all the way to the scene of the crash.
Platinum Contributing Member Skidooski Posted March 16, 2018 Platinum Contributing Member Share Posted March 16, 2018 Very cool! Interesting how there demonstration showed it firing just before the propeller blade got there. I would have thought they might time it to be 50% between and not cut it so close.
