Hence, the crossbow comment.  :)  No firearm discharge, quiet, etc.

I could shoot them from my living room sliding doors some days/evenings.   Easily.  A little bait and would be even easier.

But I am in Milton.  Right in town.  Not a good spot for gunshots

Yes one of my neighbours used to feed them.  Even after the coyotes ate their cat.  Can’t say all people are smart.

Cat populations are always in decline when you live near a Mandarin.

I've lost alot of cats over the years, coyotes are everywhere here.  Hear them at night loud as fuck and spooky in the fog

They don't tend to jump fences

good luck scaring him

I threw our cats out many nights and every morning they were there.

I find lots of rabbit fur around.

Between the coyotes, red tail hawks, bald eagles and owls around here the ground rodents live on borrowed time.

We watch the hawk and eagles swooping around hunting squirrels.  Its amazing the agility of the big birds to get a squirrel off the side of a tree.  And the size of the beak and head of the eagle is incredible.

There are bunch screaming out front of the cottage now.  I like the sound in valley, nice echo...if my dog Poncho was still around she would go crazy....barking like she would take on the world.
