Government spending is just one part of the puzzle, you claims that a GDP can be manipulated by government spending to the 2 point difference is complete wrong..... much of the growth in the past years was from home purchases that has cooled off a bit giving lower GDP - much better answer than your claims exports dropped imports increased all adds up - simply spending by the government isn't controlling all that...
