Based on your inside information?

Or just more of your financial intellect?

Or your one way biased against someone who actually has business experience and going to be running Ontario soon?

Fail, you only read the Star to get your news.  You are missing the rest of the world.

   and ROB didn't smoke crack with gang bangers FAKE NEWS

DENIAL IS YOUR BEST SHOT

It says Ford “entered into and completed an agreement with Randy Ford to sell 200 common shares of Deco Toronto, which had been owned by Rob Ford prior to his death and thereafter became a part of his Secondary Estate, to Randy Ford for a nominal purchase price of $1. The Deco Companies were reorganized into a new structure by which Randy Ford became the 100% owner of Deco Toronto, Doug Ford became the 100% owner of Deco Chicago.”

how about from 10 years ago, same troubles

The Globe obtained internal financial documents that showed in the two years before Councillor Ford took office, Deco's Canadian and American divisions lost a combined $1.1-million. Court filings connected to a child-support case between Randy Ford – the councillor's older brother and one of Deco's three owners – shows that between 2007 and 2010 the annual shareholders bonus fell by $685,000. And six sources, who spoke to The Globe on condition of anonymity, said mismanagement, family infighting and delays continue to plague the Toronto division, although Chicago has recovered.

On his newly launched candidate website, the councillor offers up Wise Tag and Label as an example of his savvy business instincts. He writes that he purchased the "failing company" in 2008 and then turned it around. But former Deco employees say that the only thing the Wise Tag venture is an example of is Mr. Ford's impulsiveness and inability to plan.

Wise Tag is a case study of how Doug Ford operates, said one of his close business associates.

The Fords' foray into New Jersey has been a drain on the company, former Deco employees with knowledge of the acquisition told The Globe and Mail. Wise Tag has not been turned around and Mr. Ford turned to his family for a cash infusion to keep it afloat, according to one source. Also, the son of Wise Tag's former owner is suing Councillor Ford for $179,654.27 related to alleged unpaid loans, credit-card debt and compensation.

Probably run out of money. It's just a coincidence that Brown's sister is the lawyer.

Reeks of "If I can't be premier, you aren't either" from Brown.

I seem to remember a PC nomination in the Scarboro area where the cops were called. Lots of brown people carrying on there.

I think if the parties are to cut out this nonsense (there were issues around the Window Washer's nomination), they would ban these 'instant' (or whatever you want to call them) members.

Also didn't a possible female Liberal nominee (Brampton area) back out of the nomination at the last minute before the last federal election?

Mike Harris made huge massive Unions, Doug will have to deal with the huge striking coming up very soon just like last time.  Most strikes in  History were under PC governments.  Oh debt almost double than too.

I have a feeling Doug will surpass the Liberals in collective debts, but if I get my 8$ a month off hydro it will be all worth it

Wow Fail.

You read an article and everything is gospel truth.

Deco labels lost $1.1 million between 2007 and 2010.  There was a huge recession during that period.  I worked at a global operating company that reduced staff by over 1/3 during that period and all employees took a pay cut of up to 10%.   Yes Fail completely true. Mandated pay cut.  Take it or leave company.

So did Deco labels downsize?  Or did they reduce wages?  Or the Fords lose money?  Yah keep bashing no nothing Fail.

As for Wise tag who knows the truth?  You sure as hell don’t.  Only what you read in a Ford bashing paper that printed hearsay from disgruntled ex-employees.

As for shareholders dividends dropping don’t you normally cheer that?  Oh right one way in this case it’s a good bash so you trumpet it.

In the real world Fail there are lots of sour stories and bad business deals. They happen.  I know when you work for government it’s all Rose’s and just spend more as someone else will pay.  No good performance required.

Family infighting with businesses is something new?

Most would be wise to have a shareholder agreement when one owner passes or wants out and that looks to be the case here.

Likely a good reason why Rob never made his wife executor or beneficiary of his life insurance policy.

One of my best customers let half their staff go due to the recession, but they bounced back stronger than ever.

I'm told there are huge margins on labels.

Integrate isn't something you are interested in when selecting a leader.

lets just start with the fact Doug was illegally signing up PC members and paying for it himself - direct violation of PC law

The machining/fabrication trade magazine I get has mentioned this quite a bit as shop owners get older. Make sure a succession plan be in place when a firm's owner dies or wants to pass the family along to another family.

Back in the 50s just after my parents married & my mother was a bank teller, she cashed a weekly allowance cheque of $100 for the wife of a local businessman. Being new to the city, she asked my father about it. Apparently it was well known that the wife was an alcoholic & had the allowance for several years.

Pretty strange for a millionaire

In an effort to see if there was an indication on the public record that Renata was facing financial difficulties, the Star examined land registry records for the home that Rob and Renata lived in for years, and which is now owned by Renata.

Records show numerous mortgage transactions in the two years since Rob died, including two mortgages taken out against the property in 2017, one for $208,000, the other for $420,000. Those mortgages were then paid off when a new $780,000 mortgage was taken out on Feb. 2, 2018, with an interest rate of 8.5 per cent from a mortgage investment company in Aurora. That is the only mortgage on the family home as of June 2018.

FAKE NEWS THE SUN

Drummond’s analysis shows the Ontario Doug Ford Party, formerly the PC Party of Ontario, would increase the deficit and debt more than any of the three main parties. And while no party is as hawkish as Drummond would like, he finds the NDP’s plan would add the least debt.

It’s “not clear how the Conservatives’ plan adds up, if indeed it does,” writes Drummond. Ford “would increase rather than eliminate the deficit,” he adds, estimating a DFP government would add $2.1 billion to the deficit.

can't stand fake news  http://torontosun.com/opinion/columnists/parkin-almost-everywhere-conservatives-have-become-the-party-of-fiscal-recklessness

So after a decade of complaining about Wynne's deficit while boosting about Harper's greatness and deficits, you all are voting for the highest deficit spending Party and will boost about it

Yup ONEWAYs at its best

The fact is, Doug has not said what he would cut.. and he will cut, pull back, not do certain projects that were already talked about etc which will counter what he promised. The fact that you cant figure that out, you're an idiot, still.
