Has there been any explanation as to why the CEO is so overpaid when compared to the heads of the other provincial utilities (especially Quebec's)? Over the years I've noticed the same ones running at both elections when voting time comes. Sid Ryan is probably pissed that he's not running. He went 0-4 running as a candidate in Oshawa (he lived in Whitby). Twice federally & twice provincially. In Durham a lot of their candidates over the years have been UAW/CAW execs that figure the public wants them to represent them in Toronto or Ottawa (insert eye roll). Buckley (current head of the OFL & former Local 222 prez') ran for them federally in 2011.
