small-bore
I tried to start my car this morning but it was to cold and wouldn't turn over very well.i put the booster on it and now the key won't turn and the steering wheel is locked. I tried all the tricks from turning the steering wheel to pushing the brakes and yes it's in park. Nothing works. Some help would be greatly appreciated. Legend
turn the wheel harder. Both ways. Hold it tight turned while turning key. If that fails use a hammer on the windshield.
Dave
Is it a gm? If so....from my experience...get another key made...or if you have a spare...try that one.....ive found after time...the key wears out and won't turn...a new key works. small-bore
It has one key for the door and ignition. I tried and tried jiggling the steering wheel, no dice. I might have to have it towed to the dealer to have the ignition tumbler changed.

Wife car used to do that, for her just had to turn the wheel a bit and it would be fine.
small-bore
It only came with one key. It never gave me any trouble before so I didn't worry about it.
