  1. So I am hopefully picking up a 2008 Polaris rmk parts sled today. A couple of the things I am hoping to use off of it is the seat and tank.

I currently ride a 2008 Polaris switchback. On the switchback there is a coolant crossover pipe that sits on the top side of the tunnel right behind the fuel tank. This little gem is stopping me from using my fancy tunnel bag that I had on my 2010 switchback.

So my question is that is there a way to "delete" or re route that cross over hose and run the slimmer rmk seat and tank So I can use my tunnel bag?

Pictures to try and show the difference. These are not my sleds but are the same as what I have.

    @AKIQPilot?

  2. Looking at a 2008 dragon 700 rmk 155" on Tuesday. I don't need the sled as I have two already lmao. But it has fox float 2's and some other goodies that I want for my 2008 dragon. Buddy is asking $1000 or best offer. He said he took it on trade but lost interest in trying to fix it. So I am thinking about buying and parting it out. Should be able to pick it up for $800 cad.

I should be able to make my money back and then some (I hope anyways). I have never bought anything to part out before lol.

Here is the pictures of the reason it is so cheap.

  3. I have never wanted kids. My entire life I have not once thought that a kid would be in my future.

When I moved out west 5 years ago, the other half and I moved in with her sister and family till we got a place of our own. When we first moved there they had one kid, he was 2 at the time. Then a year later they had another one.

That experience for me removed every tiny subconscious thought that may have been hiding somewhere in my head about the possibility of having kids.

But it just isn't the selfishness of not wanting kids. Imo the world is on a general scale, fucked up and on top It seems like like everyone else gets to tell you how to raise your kids. People just waiting for you to fuck up. Like that article where the neighbor called the cops because two 10ish? Year olds were playing in the backyard after school unattended for 20 mins while waiting for their parents to come home.

We spend a lot of time with the sister and brother in-law so we are involved in our nephews lives. I enjoy spending time with them. I hear the stories about other parents, the bullshit of child care and how cut throat it is, bullshit of how the education system is, sports and activities, the judgment of everyone else towards you and your parenting and your kids and it is fucked.

I am not hating on kids. It takes a special person (s) to raise one and raise them right. But for me I think I am happy being the cool uncle with sleds and shit (in-laws have no toys other than a shared motorcycle since this year, first toy ever for them). And my other half seems to be ok with that choice.

Me too. She is still a bit of a shit head. Has the recall ability of a tree but she is good. We are going to be pretty hurt in about 10ish years. The wife a lot more than me. She lives for those dogs lol

Dang, that sucks dude. You just never know with used stuff. :bc:

Yes it does. But if I can get $1250 the way it sits, I am to take that, add another $1250 and I have a line on a 2005 klr 650 that has 16,7xx kms on it. Mine currently has 80,000 kms lol

  6. I am currently taking a dinner break from cutting my grass, which there is way too much of.

I bought an 1989 Kawasaki klr 650 for $900 back in the spring. Well now I am sitting at $2500 and the clutch basket broke as well as another gear last weekend. So I am going to get it ready to bring to a used bike/part out shop tomorrow and see if I can cut my losses early. I will guarantee loose on $1250 but that beats the shit out of being upside down on $1750 or more.

Imagine being alive back then? Everything around you would likely wanna eat you.  Fuck that!

Almost like modern day Australia lmao.

It is pretty wild that animals that large use to stroll around. It is almost hard to fathom the changes over the years.

  8. The last thing I want to do is help my grass grow faster.

We have had non stop rain all summer it seems and I need to cut it almost twice a week. I don't because fuck cutting grass. When I do cut the lawn it is a 2-3 hour job.

I picked up a used John Deere LT166 back in May. I put a new set of blades on it and it has significantly dropped my cut time from my old mower but it still sucks lol.
