I had to go to Ottawa this morning @ 11 going north from Prescott on hwy 16, and I couldn,t believe the bumper to bumper traffic heading south on 416 this morning. I was totally shocked, as I have never witnessed this since they built the 416 hwy. I became part of that southbound traffic around 12.30, and both lanes were bumper to bumper the whole way down to the 401. Unreal ! I,m not sure how much different the view would of been for the people living in Ottawa, which is like 45 minutes north of us. We watched it happen on tv, and it did get freakishly dark here for about 5-8 minutes, but all back to normal now. There were 3 cops directing traffic at the Prescott exit, and carefully watching as vehicles backed up on the off ramp, and made sure too keep traffic rolling thru the stop sign so people wouldn,t be stopped way back on the 401 hwy.

Our local dealer had 6 of them on the lot. We took one for a test drive, it ran ok, but the factory paint on all 6 was terrible, so I walked away. You would think they painted them with a roller. Hard to beat the Japs and Koreans for paint quality, and fit and finish.

If you cann,t ride under proper care and control, while going the posted speed limit, you shouldn,t be in control of a sled. It is pathetic that a person driving a snowmobile cann,t see a helicopter that had landed on a trail. WTF is wrong with the courts, that even allow these retarded cases to even get that far. They should be charging the idiot and making him pay for the total repair cost of the helicopter.

How do you know for sure it doesn,t have a tune ? If you ain,t cheatin, you ain,t winning. When I modified my trail sleds, try and guess how many others I told about doing that ? Zero, and I asked the dealer not to tell anyone as well.

The rope looked kinda old and weathered. Are they changed out per some kind of maintenance schedule ? Is there much panic in your crew when stuff like that happens, or are they good at handling those situations ?
