I doubt the port/river pilot is responsible for mechanical failures aboard any ship they are there to guide the ship to safely navigate the river up and down the water ways, mechanical failure wouldn't fall on the port Pilot

Fox News said they had 3 minutes from mayday call to collision.  Doesn’t appear the crew in charge of the boat dropped anchor until the last minute according to report.  Which makes sense as the last little bit the ship made a sharp turn by the videos….  Wonder if that sharp turn was the anchor pulling the nose of the ship around.

    are you sure?

it's truly amazing and at times quite shocking how many people of either political persuasion believe they do

none of them follow WTI or Brent though... or have the slightest inclination of how global commodities work in the big picture.   they don't have the slightest clue regarding the price between a barrel of 'oil' and the price at the pump.   right @Pete :roflcrying:

Many don’t understand how globally traded commodities and private companies work.  We are making do much oil now that we can use it all and are export 1.5 billion barrels a year from the US shores and that number will easily increase.  If we make more then we need in the US prices should be way down if presidents of the US have control over oil.  Oil is 100% controlled by private and for profit companies.

Almost 1.5 billion Barrels of oil exported from US last year.  Very impressive what the oil companies have been able to accomplish over the last few years.  Record profits, record exports, record amount of drilling activity and etc etc

72k for a quad motor is a good deal!

    Neal

Price locked for early adopters and a $7500 tax credit.  Now would be much more.  If I was buying to replace the model 3 today I would be in a model S plaid which comes in at around $88 per hp and will get into the 9’s on 1320 ft

  5. Trump proof I guess……  automakers aren’t going to really jump in masses to Trump rolling back regs.

Stellantis—the automaker behind Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and Ram—agreed to complywith a California policy requiring two-thirds of new cars to be zero-emission or electric by 2030, potentially insulating the strict rule from challenges if former President Donald Trump returns to office and reprises his efforts to reverse California emissions standards.

  6. Great news for American oil companies profits.  Refined products and oil are going to get even more expensive.  US drones are blowing the shit out of Russian refineries which is going to cause a massive need on traded refined products globally which will make US refiners pretty dang happy.

  7. The planet just shattered heat records for the ninth month in a row

“Last month was the planet’s hottest February on record, marking the ninth month in a row that global records tumbled, according to new data from Copernicus, the European Union’s climate monitoring service.”

Didn’t he say he’s a fascist and says people that don’t obey the government for the greater  need to suffer?

No.  I said I don’t care if people suffer.  Never said people need to suffer.  Suffrage in the US in adults is self inflicted and not caused by the government.

You can't read.  Not what I said.  Said you could solve the problem by subsidizing ICE & Gas like they do EV's.  Price would go down on both and the issue goes away.

They do subsidize gas and the vehicles they go in.

Where does it state that is a requirement???

They add power over N/A available hp.

SAE and correction factor is a standard used for comparisons purpose, if a sled actually makes 150 hp at elevation the correction factor doesn't add usable HP, it gives you a theoretical output at sea level for comparisons.

The dyno reads ACTUAL hp at whatever elevation it is at.

Using correction factor both N/A and turbo 850's make the same HP at 8000 ft , do you think they do in real life on the mountainside?? Seriously?

What’s the boost gauge read at sea level on full throttle?
