Still have my Katana. Thought it was sold a year ago but the guy didn't like my price....lol I moved it to the shop today. Might do some work on it. But then I have lots of projects that need attention.

I had a friend who drove a Jeep pick up in high school. It had some special package, rollbar, leather seats, built in CB. It was a cool truck. I just seen a J4000 yesterday 5 minutes from my house sitting outside a bodyshop. It was in tough shape though.

Ya, you had to pay attention when riding those old Elans. They didn't steer worth a crap. My dad and his buddy Ross from down the street both bought the wives Elans when they came out. Ross told me one time that it was the stupidest thing he ever did. Put the wife on a sled that doesn't steer. He said she bitched all winter so he bought here a better sled the next season. As I said, the Elan stayed with us for 10 years. We also bought a '73 Elan 250 Twin (with the Silver Bullet pictured early) a few years later as an upgrade for my mom.

I remember riding in it but we didn't have it long. My mom doesn't know where it went but I think it was sold to a neighbour. In 1970, mom got an Elan 250 single and I rode on the back. My sister rode with my dad. Wish there were more pics. We had sleds at the house from 1967 to 1984 I but don't remember the earlier ones. The little Elan we had for 10 years.

My parents stylin' in 1979. New SRX440 for dad and an ET300 for mom. New matching suits.

My sister and I burning gas after school. I'm thinking around '78 or 79. The 2 sleds came from friends of my parents who got out of the sport.

Ya, I need to have that chat. My son will be 30 next month. I’ve been putting it off.

It’s beyond sucks. This was the 5th time in his chair in just over 2 months and I’m going back next Saturday.

Brutal day. Emergency root canal. 2 hours in the chair. Pain all through my jaw now from holding my mouth open all that time. Dentist says no solid foods for a day cause he had to do a temp filling. I get to go back next Saturday for the permanent one. Antibiotics, Advil and fluids. Crown and Cokes and Coffee Walk mixed with Daytona races in the shop until I pass out. Warned the wife, if you come out for a chat you will bare my wrath….Don’t poke the bear.

Bit wilder in the second race. Kyle Busch going to a backup car looks like. Had to google to see what 3chi was. Online cannabis store. My how times have changed…..haha

It was an outstanding run by Larson to take the pole. Amazing to think they are separating positions by 1/100th of a second. Some by 1/1000ths.

Good. This was the mess left behind last month when thieves flipped 8 trucks at a local gravel pit to access the converters.

I never could figure out how to drink coffee but I have gotten addicted to these in the mornings.

Ya, we hear about this pent up demand for Nascar racing in Los Angles, a huge built in market. They have a race and no one shows up. In the prerace they show case rappers and "people of colour" from different sports. Label me a racist but I think you're trying to create a market where people don't give a shit.
