Yeah....never got that far but saw some YouTube vids of it being done that way. Some just used the power steering as leverage and turned the wheel into the knuckle with a socket or something as a spacer to pop it off. I just couldn't believe how stuck my hub was after it being changed only a few years prior.

It was a nice screaming 10 cylinder the few times it was running good for me... The SMG transmission was total garbage and I am so much happier with the V in every category. ..no comparison. other than maybe the velor leather interior was a bit nicer in the M. But even That is subjective and questionable

How did they fleece me?.... Virtually everything was covered under warranty except the battery... Thousands and thousands of dollars covered for the tranny and flywheel issues...leaking differential and electrical issues that it took them days to "diagnose" and I still had problems after that... The battery was always at a state of low discharge from something.. I was actually starting to like the loaner cars better than my own... I was getting so used to them. Absolute JUNK . Never again... current car is head and shoulders better and much, much less to maintain. Easy Change oil and fill with gas, that's it ......no worries to change Brake fluids, differential fluids and filters etc. at ridiculously low mileage/time intervals. Pretty sure that's what my 06 had. They had to set the rate of charge for the new battery.. . yup and definitely not for the faint of heart or short tempered. I wanted to take a sledge hammer or explosive to that POS all the time.

Extended warranty did not cover battery......needed special tool to change oil . I didn't bother with it. Car was junk....... electrical issues, trans problems, differential leaks. Fortunately, most of those issues were covered.....Everytime I started the car, I winced and hoped that the check engine light and bells wouldn't go off. Worst car I ever owned...hands down. Would never even consider another BMW even if it was given to me.

Haha ....yeah NJ went from being very strict, crack in window, rot(sharp edges), headlights not aimed correctly,brakes, tire tread would all fail ....too passing anything except check engine light.....I now go through with super loud exhaust shaking the inspection building and no Cats with no problem. Took my other car with headlight out and still passed. It's become a joke but no complaints ..... but will have to come to an end soon with my move .
