There was a poll the other day in the Toronto Sun where the poll basically asked one's thoughts on the Royal Family. IIRC, the results were somewhere between 85-90% didn't give f*ck about the Royal family. Trudope, our idiot leader, when asked who was going to pay for their security while here, hasn't come out and said he wouldn't. I think this is how the majority of Canadians feel about the Royal Family. "A lot of people panhandling and living on the streets, and Trudeau wants to throw away 6 figures annually on security for those pompous twits? That is F'd Up if true? I can't see, if push came to shove, how the union could just walk away from all issues/concerns she had if she is paying dues? I'm sure if it ever came down to something where she needed representation and then told a judge/lawyer, etc, I am sure they would hold the union accountable. No kidding. Just showing everything Unions have done for people over the years and why we currently have them. Thankfully, times have changed for the better in NA but it wouldn't surprise me one bit, if unions were abolished, we'd go back to some of those things without them. I think the majority of us on here are too young to know/remember what it was like before unions came along. Are unions perfect, of course not, but then again not all are the same. I've been pro union and will continue to support them as I've seen what it's like to be a worker without a union or union support. It's a slippery slope and their removal/disbanding will only take us backwards, not forwards.
