We rode around Millinocket this weekend. Considering the amount of rain that fell fri the trails held up pretty well. Ended up a little over 245 mi. With a very late start sat. And fairly late Sunday as well. We threw in the towel on yesterday since ray didn’t have scratchers and was fighting over heating saterday evening as it locked up TIGHT at -8f Up thru Baxter’s Ungroomed trail to Matagamon then to shin pond, down thru patten, stacyville, back across to its86 back ta Millinocket right about 160 miles Sunday 🍻

So the guys at work and I play alot of practical jokes on each other. Usually I get the upper hand but they got me pretty good the last couple weeks. So a couple weeks ago I'm pulling out of the garage in my wife's car and I see this bumper sticker on my truck. So today I drive home and I need to go pick up the kid from practice and as I'm backing out of the garage and the garage light shines thru my passenger window... So I get to kids practice and he immediately cracks up hysterically. "Dad, there's a dick on your window".... Time to make examples out of some mother fuckers....

I was working for a Dodge dealer way back in 1989 when I got invited to a truck club meet that Dodge put on for it's higher volume truck dealers. So we get to this conference center and after a half hour or so they dim the lights and put up some pics of the mock up of the early designs of what became the 1994 pickup. The room went quiet and then some grumblings amongst the room full of truck dealers as to the styling of the truck. So the Dodge truck VP from chrysler starts to explain that at the time Dodge sold like 50,000 full size pickups and if it were not for the then fairly new Cummins option Dodge would sell even less. He went on to explain that the design was made to have one of two affects, either you loved it or you hated it in about a 50/50 ratio and if you loved it you would buy it. He was right by 1995 Dodge had sold 400,000+ pickups which while not more than Ford or GM was still a 10 fold increase and one of the major reasons the Mopar brand is still around.

The daughter and I hit the local food co-op the other day and grabbed some produce and fruit and we bought some Japanese Sweet Potatoes....now I don't know the difference between these and regular sweet potatoes but I just baked one up and ate it with a little butter and pepper and damn it was good!

Yeah, got lucky. The steaks I grabbed were bacon wrapped so I fried those two pieces up with some chopped onions and diced them over the scrambles with some cheese. FUCK ME! Ate mine up before the toast was done. Ive got a problem.
