Looks like I've got some back reading to do here...I'll get to it. Been busy as shit these last couple of days. Track had some rough spots so I bounced around quite a bit. Sport and Pro-lite racers were looking fucking great. Both have racers that will be moving up soon. Dropping the Pro-open mod sleds down to essentially pro-lite really made it hard to determine who was on the track at times...but, just a couple of minutes of watching and it was clear...those pro guys are just something special to watch. It's man and machine melded into one. Hard to describe how fluid and effortless they look. All OEM's looked pretty well represented out there. If anything, I thought I saw more Doos than last year. Guess they have the "cheap sleds" to try and eek out all the wins. Didn't work though...oh well. Guess just Cat can do that the right way.. @AKIQPilot Fuck...really a great couple of days of racing. Weather was cold but beautiful yesterday. I've never been much of a "shutterbug" but snapped a few yesterday. I don't know and don't give 3 shits what those faggots are doing out west but if a picture has 1000 words, this one's is "gay" and "lame" 1000 times. God damn abortions with no business being on this track. We basically just had to let them crash, fuck and fumble around out there because they had almost no control and if we got on the track to try and help we'd have probably got run the fuck over. 4 strokes just don't belong in SX at any level...and these things...well, they offered us all laughes as they farted along. Not sure what the numbers were last nite but, as usual, it looked like record attendance. The line of people went all the way up to the right into two more sets of packed bleachers. Lodge was standing room only. "SX is dying!!!!!" And look what Santa brought me via a race team! I rolled it over an hour of run time in my yard! And WHEW....this thing is gonna be fun! Fucking stupid, crazy fun! I think Benny TooMany would total it as soon as he plugged in the teather. @f7ben

Hey, I own a SBA and even I realize it means shit in the scheme of things. Given both sleds come in several different track and gearing configurations, and given there is far more to measure than a couple quick short runs in new snow with no base, its something to get us amped to ride, and nothing more. I'm pretty sure there are vids on Youtube with the opposite results. My 2" tracked SBA that I bought with 600 miles on it has a max speed of 106 showing on the gauge. Fast enough for me, and almost 20 mph faster than I could get my SKS to go.

Thats pretty cool, including that 98 XC, those things ripped. I'm hoping to put some miles on my 2000 SXr 700 this winter, after all the work I did to it, I better get my moneys worth. Went to the Turkey Hunt Carshow/swap at Daytona today. absolutely huge, only got through half.

We are headed from Effingham Illinois to Phoenix immediately after Christmas, like Dec 28th, haha. Then spend Jan, Feb and March in the southwest bouncing around watching racing and having fun. We have a very full agenda starting with the AMA SX opener and it will end up with the Indy 500 in May. A few concerts thrown in for good measure. We have tickets for 3 Doors Down in Denver in January and the Foo Fighters in Austin in April. We will bounce back to AK a few times here and there to check on things and maybe work a little.

I don't think ANY of us should be expecting any real top end this year considering what we are all riding this season , I know I'm not . I'll be happy if the crate I bought can run 80 - 90 across the occasional lake or railroad bed that we have to run without it feeling like I'm abusing it . I'm so over that other shit that it isn't funny , these day's just give me the best suspension that I can find , a warm windshield , a big gas tank , all on something that I don't have to worry about falling apart halfway home and I'm happy as a clam . I don't gas what brand it is . I think all 4 of us bought that this year , we're gonna have a good time .
