Thank you everyone. I've been sharing my journey on Facebook and keeping my posts public. Here is my last post: T +5ish hours Out of the recovery room and back to my little corner of HSC. I'm a little sore when I move or twist, and pretty tired, but otherwise feeling just fine. Water tastes amazing, haven't had any since around midnight last night. Horrible case of cottonmouth, but for a totally different reason than most people experiencing that today. Michelle is out as well, also doing very well. She's amazing. I can't express that strongly enough. Things today were "great success" <- (in my very best borat impression). Everything is working well; creatinine is already dropping and the new little guy is making pee like a champ. Haven't tried to get up for a walk yet, likely sleep on it first. Took one shot of my little pain pump at the nurses' request, just to show them I knew how it worked. Not really feeling too bad yet, although we'll see what tomorrow brings. My beautiful fiancée just snuck me in a banana and it was awesome :). Still have a heap of hoses and tubes connected, but I'm pretty sure I'll sleep well regardless. Thank you so much, everyone, for all the love and support. I'm sure it helped carry me over. Now on to the rest of my life!

Went to see Jackson Brown play here in town Monday night. Mostly a yawnfest but the people playing with him on stage were great. It was the chick violin player and the guitar player from Nickel Creek. Jackson Brown played 2 hours of bullshit songs, then played Doctor My Eyes and Take It Easy to end the night. I can't stand it when these douchebags charge over a $100 a seat then don't play the hits from their career. "Retard, its the only reason we came." Only song I recognized the rest of the night was "Man of Constant Sorrow".

10k miles on my 14 in 3 years now 3,600 on my 16 holdover I bought this year. I have an Arctic Cat TXI helmet and love it. Even says Arctic Cat on it cause IDGAF what I look like and it was only $90, plus I had a hard time finding a helmet to fit my big dome. Not a fan of modular helmets, but I need to pick up a moto-x or some other style of helmet for spring riding though

I am with u on the 600 for a trail sled . it is what I went with for a trail sled . I am also really in to the smaller bikes now . I love my 390 duke I love being in twisty tight roads and using the whole throttle range and the fact it weighs nothing . I coud have brought a bigger bike west last summer but I brought the 390 and loved it . unloaded at every mountain pass and it was heaven .
