Nice, went to 40th anniversay party for one of my customers on Thursday. They were the first lighting company to do GFRR shows. Mark Farner showed up to celebrate, 100 or so of us listening to their classics. He sounded awesome, really cool experience. If you ever get the chance to watch the VH1 behind the music documentary on Grand Funk, they talk about them blowing bands like Zeppelin off the stage during a festival. Well little know to many people their tech director had developed a new audio system that was revolutionary. He was my boss for many years and developed some cool technology in live music. Amazing dude.

The implications are extraordinary and point to the possibility of a civilization far more advanced than our own. The unusual signal was originally detected on May 15, 2015 by the Russian Academy of Science-operated RATAN-600 radio telescope in Zelenchukskaya, Russia but was kept secret from the international community. Interstellar space reporter Paul Gilster broke the story after the researchers quietly circulated a paper announcing the detection of “a strong signal in the direction of HD164595.” The mysterious star’s designation is HD164595 and it’s considered to be sun-like in nature with a nearly identical metallic composition to our own star. So far, a single Neptune-like (but warmer) planet has been discovered in its orbit–HD 164595 b. But as Gilster explained, “there could, of course, be other planets still undetected in this system.” Decorated Italian SETI researcher and mathematician Claudio Maccone along with Russia’s Nikolai Bursov of the Special Astrophysical Observatory are the principal scientists working on the apparent discovery. They claim that “permanent monitoring of this target is needed.”

If you stop and think about it we are all slaves. Look at hoe money is created out of thin air and how we spend the bulk of our lives working to pay for shit we don't need. We we live under the illusion that we are free. That voting for so and so will get us the where we want to go. It's all bullshit. Last but not least look at war. We peasants enlist in the military to fight wars for what Freedom? Look at how vets are treated. Look at how homeless are treated. When I look at the lavish lifestyles of political class it says it very clearly we are thier slaves. We work for them they don't work for us.
