I have a 2002 Ford F150 with the 5.4 Triton V8 and had a spark plug pop out of the head, Now I read you can put an insert in the head which is better than a heli-coil. Any body have experience in this or should I spend the $1500 to the dealer and have it fixed? Doesn't look like an easy job and would hate to add the expense of a new head.

Heres a pic of the broken coil.
