Agree'd. Well depending on what kind of drag class. There's some pretty sick street cars out there. I work at a gas station and seeing some of the local street cars is pretty sick.

i have seriously been wondering why do you insist on having a street legal car to race, i have heard you say that you don't street race but you do it on the track. In the race shop we have a few cars that would whip your ass on the track. and i bet it cost a lot less than your sti. granted i give imports a lot of credit and i have lived in a area where street racing is serious unlike the area we live in. I usually don't get involved in these car talks because the majority of the people on here talk out there ass including yourself. then you preach about the only reason you rag on domestics is for the reason that everyone comes after you for it. You brought that shit on yourself from the day you started talking about your sti like it was the second coming of christ. maybe if you just talked like a real car guy and gave credit to all cars you would get more respect but nope you are the typical reason why import drivers have a bad name. here's another funny thing you always ask people what they drive but you post vids of other sti's. here's a little clue for you, any car can be made fast...just sayin:beer_cheers:

1. i dont like drag racing.
2. i like cars that do everything good.
3. i go to the drag strip once or twice a year.
4. i didnt build my car to drag race.
5. i built my car to do everything good. corner, accelerate, stop, ride good, have a/c and be fully capable of driving it across the country.
6. i didnt buy my car with the intention of going mudding like some of you think it was designed to do.
7. sti's come with summer only autocross tires from the factory if you guys want to argue #6.
8. i used to street race a lot and autocross back in the day. not so much anymore, but i do intend to get back into autocross/time attack type racing.
9. if i wanted a drag car (i dont!) i would have bought a rwd V-8.
10. i dont hate all domestics. i like cars like the Z06 and viper, but i hate muscle cars. they dont do anything good and are usless to me.
11. i dont care about your or your buddies drag car.
12. a "street car" can drive across the country, go more than 100 miles on a tank of pump gas, has wipers, headlights, more than one seat, sway bars, decent suspension and brakes and can drive down the highway in a downpour without ending up in a ditch.
13. "street legal" doesnt always mean its a street car. if it needs race gas, more than one set of tires and doesnt fit the description above, its a drag car. if you take it to the track on a trailer or if you dont drive it during the week, then it aint much of a street car either.
