Trail C4 From Ridgerunners west, three miles of trail then changes to 6 miles of seasonal road (Military Road) to Norway.
Groomed on 12/21/09
Trail condition; EXCELLENT, TRAIL HAS CHANGED SOME DOES NOT RUN THE ROAD THAT WAS PLOWED NOW IT GOES THRU THE WOODS

Trail C4 From Ridgerunners north, C4 is a 18 mile jaunt to the Bull Hill Trail Head. Approximately half this distance is seasonal road.
Groomed on: CLOSED
Trail condition: watch out for logging being done between clubhouse and jerseyfield rd, jerseyfield rd across thru bull hill is now open, it's was groomed by ohio ridge riders club 2/10/2009


C4A Ridgerunners west to Fairfield
Groomed on 3/3/2009
TRAIL CLOSED DUE TO LACK OF SNOW

C4A Ridgerunners east to Stratford. 50% trail riding and 50% seasonal road. Est trail 6-7 miles.

C4D Rod and Gun to Petkovsek fields to 170A to 170 onto 169 down powerlines to ice house

Trail condition:


C4E starts at the junction(splits from C4A) just before PARKHURST RD IN FAIRFIELD, C4E is the trail from Middleville to Fairfield. Estimated 3 miles of seasonal roads and fields. Very open and usually quite windy. Trail can be drifted at times and hard to see. Please drive with caution when wind is blowing as visiblity can be zero.

In addition to these marked trails there are a number of side venues to stores and businesses that are too numerous to list. Please stay on the trail when you need to fuel up or eat. Cutting across yards and driveways could jeopardize our access to these vital locations. Please remember that our landowners are people just like we are and they do not want to spend their spring cleaning up their property from negligent riders. If you abuse, we all lose!

we are getting pounded right now with LES. 4 inches in just the last hour, and still coming down like hell. here is our last trail update, many trails are closed but i am sure they will be back open by the weekend.

THE RAIN MONDAY DID A LOT OF DAMAGE, THE TRAIL REPORT IS FROM THE CLUBHOUSE TO NORWAY IS OPEN IT WAS GROOMED 1/26/2010 AND GOOD SHAPE ALSO CLUB TO STRATFORD WAS GROOMED 1/27/2010 AND IN GOOD SHAPE. CLUB TO SALISBURY CENTER IS OPEN BUT FAIR CONDITION ALL OTHER TRAILS ARE CLOSED WE ARE SUPPOSE TO GET 2-4" OF SNOW TODAY AND BELOW ZERO WEATHER THIS WEEK END ONLY RISING IN THE TEENS DURING THE DAY TIME.

Wow still grooming there? they are the last of the Mohegan's everyone else in NY has ceased grooming and parked the groomers :beer_cheers:

Grooming stopped and trails closed

they got the groomers out when we had 2 nights of 20, i am sure they are done now. the good trails south are now shit. we will take a major hit here, the next few days. near 60 for a good stretch.

MOST TRAILS ARE STILL OPEN, BUT SPRING LIKE CONDITIONS, BE AWARE TRAIL CONDITION CAN CHANGE RAPIDLY THERE ARE BARE SPOTS AND ROCKS IN SOME PLACES, IF YOU CAN CHECK IN WITH THE CLUB FOR THE LATEST UPDATES AS RIDERS COME IN FROM THE TRAILS. WE DID GROOM FROM CLUB TO STRATFORD AND TO CLUB TO NORWAY AND DOWN TO BARTO HILL AND ON TO DOLGEVILLE ROD AND GUN CLUB AND ON UP TO THE CLUB ON S84, C8C IS PRETTY WELL SHOT LOTS OF BARE SPOTS AND WATER HOLES.YOUR BEST CHANCE FOR A GOOD RIDE WOULD BE C4F SWITCHBACK TRAIL LAST WEEK IT WAS IN GREAT SHAPE NO BARE SPOTS AND A LOT OF SNOW.

WE DID GROOM FROM CLUB TO STRATFORD AND TO CLUB TO NORWAY AND DOWN TO BARTO HILL AND ON TO DOLGEVILLE ROD AND GUN CLUB AND ON UP TO THE CLUB ON S84, C8C IS PRETTY WELL SHOT LOTS OF BARE SPOTS AND WATER HOLES.YOUR BEST CHANCE FOR A GOOD RIDE WOULD BE C4F SWITCHBACK TRAIL LAST WEEK IT WAS IN GREAT SHAPE NO BARE SPOTS AND A LOT OF SNOW.

Trail C4 From Ridgerunners west, three miles of trail then changes to 6 miles of seasonal road (Military Road) to Norway.

Trail C4 From Ridgerunners north, C4 is a 18 mile jaunt to the Bull Hill Trail Head. Approximately half this distance is seasonal road.

watch out for logging being done between clubhouse and jerseyfield rd


C4A Ridgerunners west to Fairfield
Groomed on 3/2/2010
TRAIL; POOR

C4A Ridgerunners east to Stratford. 50% trail riding and 50% seasonal road. Est trail 6-7 miles.

C4D Rod and Gun to Petkovsek fields to 170A to 170 onto 169 down powerlines to ice house

Trail condition: GOOD

C4E starts at the junction(splits from C4A) just before PARKHURST RD IN FAIRFIELD, C4E is the trail from Middleville to Fairfield. Estimated 3 miles of seasonal roads and fields. Very open and usually quite windy. Trail can be drifted at times and hard to see. Please drive with caution when wind is blowing as visiblity can be zero.

C8A Barto HIll to Dolgeville. Six miles, mostly fields, it also continues to Rt 5 approximately another five miles. Very open and usually quite windy. Trail can be drifted at times and hard to see. Please drive with caution when wind is blowing as visiblity can be zero.

yeah, our club is getting a huge petition together. even though they are not our clubs trails, hopefully we can stop it. thanks for the reminder, we have meeting next month about it. :beer_cheers:


BTW, taking my OSHA 10 course this week. gotta have the card in NY for the new job. wish me luck!
